Fuel Supply Will Continue Uninterrupted Over Weekends

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation dismissed rumours that fuel stations would be closed on weekends, stating that distribution will continue as usual.

Managing Director Mayura Netthikumara clarified this at a press briefing in Colombo on March 20.

He stated that the misinformation likely arose from routine monthly closures of certain stations, but confirmed that no such restrictions apply currently.

He added that adequate stocks are available, QR-based distribution is functioning effectively, and minor technical issues are being resolved promptly.
