Wimbledon: Carlos Alcaraz storms into final

Carlos Alcaraz kept his dream of a Wimbledon three-peat alive after storming into the final of the ongoing grass-court major. 

On July 11, the Spaniard defeated American Taylor Fritz 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 in two hours and 49 minutes.

Alcaraz is now just one win away from becoming only the fifth man after Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic to win three consecutive Wimbledon titles at the All England Club.

In the final, Alcaraz will lock horns with the winner of the other semi-final between World No.1 Jannik Sinner and 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.
