Burnaby shooting sends man to hospital

Police have contained the scene and surrounding area.

Mounties in Burnaby are investigating a shooting that sent one person to hospital Tuesday night.

The Burnaby RCMP says officers were called after reports of shots fired in the area of Kitchener Street and Madison Avenue just after 7:45 p.m.

Police have contained the scene and surrounding area.

One man has been transported to the hospital.
