According to the Abbotsford Police Department, the first fire happened on April 13 at the Bakerview Centre for Learning, along Marshall Road.
Officers responded around 3:49 a.m. to find crews already extinguishing a small fire that caused damage to the exterior and interior of the building.
On April 22, at about 3:15 a.m., a fire happened at a portable classroom at the same Bakerview site. Police say damage was minor, but the fire was later confirmed to be an arson.
Then on April 24, at approximately 12:30 a.m., another fire was discovered at a portable classroom at Godson Elementary School, a short distance from Bakerview. Police say that fire was also intentionally set and caused minor damage.
Abbotsford police have announced that a man has been charged with arson in relation to an April 13 fire at the Bakerview Centre for Learning.
The 34-year-old man is now in custody, and the other two suspicious fires remain under investigation.
