Superstar Rajinikanth has stepped away from his acting projects to undertake a spiritual journey in the Himalayas, accompanied by close friends. Images from his time in the mountains have surfaced on social media.

In one photograph, Rajinikanth is seen eating a modest meal served on a partal (leaf plate) by the roadside, away from luxury and glamour. His choice to embrace simplicity has resonated with many, reinforcing his reputation as a grounded figure.

Another picture showed him in simple white clothes, engaging with local residents at an ashram and offering respects to a priest. The photos have been praised for highlighting his humility, with many users noting his consistent down-to-earth demeanour.

On October 4, Rajinikanth visited Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh, paid tribute to Swami Dayananda, and meditated along the banks of the Ganga River. He also attended the Ganga Aarti, a traditional Hindu ritual. Reports state that he then traveled to Dwarahat on October 5, continuing his spiritual engagements.
