Trump warns Hamas of complete obliteration if it does not cede power in Gaza

Hamas will face "complete obliteration" if it does not cede power and control in Gaza as per his peace plan, US President Donald Trump on Octoer 4 warned before the deadline ends at 6 pm (Washington time) on October 5. 

Trump's latest warning comes just 12 hours ahead of the deadline expires.

In the interview, which aired on Sunday, Trump further said he expects to learn soon whether Hamas is genuinely committed to pursuing peace.
