Koo cofounder launches PicSee

Mayank Bidawatka, cofounder of the now-defunct social media platform Koo, has launched a new app called PicSee under his company Billion Hearts Software Technologies.
Described as an AI-powered mutual photo-sharing platform, PicSee is designed to help users automatically get photos of themselves taken by friends, while sharing their own pictures in return.
The app relies on a “give to get” system, where the exchange only happens once both parties approve each other, making the process seamless and eliminating the need for manual uploads or constant requests for pictures.
Bidawatka highlighted the challenge PicSee addresses, noting that while trillions of photos are captured globally each year, most never get shared.
The app uses AI-driven facial recognition to scan a user’s gallery, detect friends, and generate personalised invites.
Once both sides agree, PicSee automatically shares the relevant photos, while giving users a 24-hour window to review or retract any image before it’s exchanged. It also continues to detect new photos in the background, prompting users to connect with friends appearing in recently taken pictures.
