Congress, BRS move no-confidence motion over Manipur issue

The Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Wednesday submitted notices seeking a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha against the Modi government on the Manipur issue.

Congress's deputy leader in Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, submitted a notice to the Lok Sabha Secretary General’s office.

A separate notice for a no-confidence motion was submitted by BRS floor leader Nageshwar Rao to the Speaker. The BRS is led by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
