$100 Million Loan from the Asian Development Bank

The Ministry of Finance has announced that a bilateral agreement has been signed to obtain a loan of USD 100 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the development of the country’s health sector.

According to the ministry’s statement, this loan will be utilized to develop a national action plan aimed at improving the efficiency of health service delivery and ensuring universal access to quality healthcare.

It also mentioned that the funds will support pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response measures in the post-pandemic phase.
