India-US trade talks advance amid tariff and energy discussions

India and the US are actively engaging in trade discussions as both nations explore ways to strengthen economic ties. 

A high-level Indian delegation, led by the Commerce and Industries Minister, visited the US from September 22-24 to hold meetings with government officials, business leaders, and investors, according to the official statement by India’s Commerce ministry.

“The Minister met US Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer and Mr Sergio Gor, US Ambassador-designate to India, apart from engaging with leading American businesses and investors,” mentioned the statement.
