Kannada actor Shruti stabbed by husband

A Kannada television actor, Shruthi, in Bengaluru was attacked by her estranged husband over alleged domestic and financial disputes. 

The accused reportedly sprayed pepper spray on Shruthi, stabbed her in the ribs, thigh, and neck and banged her head against a wall.

The incident took place on July 4. Manjula, also known as Shruthi, an actor and a private channel anchor, was attacked by her estranged husband Ambarish, who is reportedly an auto driver.

Bengaluru West Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Girish confirmed the case and said that two cases were registered involving a dispute between the couple.
