India’s Effort to Divide Sri Lanka Continues — Prof. Induragare Dhamarathana Thero

Prof. Induragare Dhamarathana Thero has claimed that India's intention to divide Sri Lanka remains unchanged.
Speaking at the 35th anniversary commemoration of the Kokkadicholai attack, he stated that India’s policy has not shifted even by a decimal point.
He warned that India is offering Sri Lanka a 300 billion rupee debt relief while still expecting the repayment of $1.7 billion.
He accused India of using diaspora communities, innocent Tamil civilians, and various strategies to destabilize Sri Lanka — economically, regionally, and politically.
According to him, India aims to eventually convert Sri Lanka into its 29th state and later, upon dividing the Northern and Eastern provinces, establish them as the 30th state of India.
