Former Pakistan coach joins Bangladesh as pace bowling coach

Bangladesh have roped in former Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait as their new fast-bowling coach. Tait has signed a contract until November and is set to join the Tigers later this month. He replaced Andre Adams, whose contract ended recently.

Tait previously served as the bowling coach of Pakistan, West Indies (Test team) and Afghanistan. He was also the head coach of the Chittagong Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025.

He also held coaching roles with teams in the Big Bash League (BBL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lankan Premier League (LPL) and English County Cricket. Tait looked forward to working with Bangladesh head coach Phil Simmons.
