Man dies after shooting in Langley

Some next-door neighbours heard gunshots around 12:40 a.m., and then saw a black SUV speed away.

The Lower Mainland’s homicide team has been called in after a man was killed in Langley early Friday morning.

The Langley RCMP says just after midnight, Mounties were called to 202B Street between 70A and 68A avenues in the Willoughby neighbourhood after reports of gunfire.

Some next-door neighbours heard gunshots around 12:40 a.m., and then saw a black SUV speed away.

The Lower Mainland’s homicide team has been called in after a man was killed in Langley early Friday morning. Police say evidence is still being gathered. However, officers believe the shooting to be an “isolated incident.”

Police said Friday afternoon they have have no suspects and don’t know the connection between the shooting victims and the house.
