Over 60 percent turnout until 5 pm as India votes in Phase 2 of Lok Sabha polls
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the second phase of voting was "too good".

Polling was held for 88 seats across 13 states in the second phase of Lok Sabha polls, including all 20 constituencies in Kerala and 14 of 28 seats in Karnataka.
Besides, polling was held in Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Bengal, Manipur, Tripura, and Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Election Commission data, the voter turnout till 5 pm was highest in Tripura at 77.53 per cent and lowest in Uttar Pradesh at 52.74 per cent. The overall turnout across the 13 states and Union Territories was over 60 per cent.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the second phase of voting was "too good".
"Gratitude to the people across India who have voted today. The unparalleled support for NDA is going to disappoint the Opposition even more," he wrote on X.
