Actor Vinayakan, who played the villain in the Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer', was arrested by Ernakulam North police for allegedly creating a ruckus at the station on Tuesday.

Actor Vinayakan, who played the villain in the Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer', was arrested by Ernakulam North police for allegedly creating a ruckus at the station on Tuesday. He was taken to Ernakulam General Hospital and the medical examination has been completed, as per police sources.
The actor was arrested on charges of behaving uncontrollably in a public place in a drunken state and obstructing the police station's operations. As per sources, he was called to the station for questioning after receiving complaints that he had created a ruckus at the apartment where he resides.
Speaking to India Today, North Police SHO (station house officer) said, "The action was taken because he (Vinakayan) behaved indecently. He will be released after a while. He will be released on station bail. He was drunk, is what we understand."
