Uttar Pradesh Police cancelled all types of leaves of its staff from October 15 till November 20 in view of the upcoming festivals.
The order was issued by Director General of Police (DGP) Vijay Kumar on Tuesday.
"Leave of all types of police personnel is stopped from October 15 to November 20 in view of the forthcoming Durga Puja/Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals," the notification read.
In special cases, leave may be sanctioned as per need, it added.
