Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing charges of sexual harassment, and his son Karan have been excluded from the electoral roll for the upcoming Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) elections. But the list surprisingly includes members who are not associated with the existing state bodies.

While Brij Bhushan Singh and his son Karan, vice-president of the same state body, have not made it to the list, the outgoing chief's son-in-law Vishal Singh will be a representative from Bihar in the polls.

Notably, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur had promised the protesting wrestlers led by Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia that none from Brij Bhushan's family would contest the elections.
