In a momentous visit to the city of Kolkata, Martinez, the Argentinian goalkeeper and winner of the Golden Gloves at the FIFA World Cup 2023, was bestowed with the prestigious lifetime memberships of both the iconic Mohun Bagan and East Bengal football clubs.

As a gesture of reverence and appreciation, Martinez was also presented with hilsa and shrimp (Chingri) fish, which hold symbolic significance for both the East Bengal and Mohun Bagan clubs, representing their unique identities and legacies.
