Telangana Yadagirigutta Temple services appreciated by Canadian Prime Minister

In a special message, the Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney conveyed his warm appreciation to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple authorities during the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam held at the EY Centre in Ottawa, Canada.

The event was attended by several members of the Hindu community and temple devotees. 

On August 31 an official letter from the Canadian Prime Minister, addressed to the temple authorities, was received. 

Prime Minister Mike Carney in his message acknowledged the significant contribution of Hindu Canadians to Canada’s rich cultural diversity. He described the Mahotsavam as a celebration of sacred tradition, spiritual joy, and shared community values.

He further thanked the temple organisers and volunteers for their dedicated efforts in uniting devotees and fostering a sense of belonging. Carney also appreciated the role of the Hindu community in promoting inclusiveness and strengthening Canadian society.

Konda Surekha, Telangana’s Endowments Minister welcomed the international recognition, expressing happiness that the temple and its services had been honoured on a global platform.

Executive Officer Venkata Rao, Temple Executive Officer also responded with gratitude, saying the recognition reflected the temple’s growing spiritual influence and the commitment of its devotees both in India and abroad.
