Ten More Skeletons Identified at Chemmani Mass Grave

Excavations at the Chemmani mass grave site have uncovered ten additional skeletons, bringing the total number identified to 197.

On August 30, six complete skeletons were exhumed, and excavations continued into the sixth day of the third phase of the second excavation stage. The court has granted 45 days for the excavation, which has now entered its 38th day.

So far, 180 complete skeletal remains have been exhumed during 47 days of excavations carried out in stages.
