The Colombo High Court has ordered the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) to facilitate the Bribery Commission in obtaining a statement from the accused Nadun Chinthaka Wickramarathna, alias 'Harak Katta,' a powerful drug trafficker reportedly detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.

The order was issued when the case involving Harak Katta was brought before Colombo High Court Judge Sujeewa Nissanka.

State Counsel Sajith Bandara informed the court that a request had been made to record a statement from the accused, Nadun Chinthaka, concerning an investigation being conducted by the Bribery Commission.

Accordingly, the State Counsel requested the court to issue an order to enable Bribery Commission officials to record a statement from the defendant.

Accepting the request, High Court Judge Sujeewa Nissanka ordered the Terrorism Investigation Division to facilitate the Bribery Commission officials in recording the defendant's statement.
