50 flights delayed, 10 diverted as storm impacts Delhi airport operations

Massive dust storms, hail and heavy rain in the Delhi-NCR region have impacted flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. 

According to sources, around 50 flights have been delayed and around 10 flights diverted to airports nearby, and some flights have been cancelled.

According to the schedule board at Delhi Airport, visuals of which were shared by news agency PTI, flights from Kathmandu, Phuket, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Singapore, Toronto and Bangkok have been delayed, and one from Tel Aviv has been cancelled.
