Elderly Sikh man arrested in Canada for alleged sexual assault of minor

A 78-year-old Sikh man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor on three separate occasions earlier this month in Brampton, Canada.

According to a statement from Peel Regional Police, Harmohinder Singh was taken into custody on May 8 by the department’s Special Victims Unit.

Investigators allege that Singh approached a girl under the age of 12 and sexually assaulted her multiple times at a park in Brampton.
