Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ended their four-match losing streak in the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025), beating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by two wickets on May 7 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. 

After opting to bat first, KKR posted a decent score of 179/6 in their allotted 20 overs as captain Ajinkya Rahane led his team from the front with his innings of 48 (33).

Noor Ahmad spun a web around KKR batters as he registered his second four-wicket haul (4/31) of the season

Brevis rescued his team from a precarious position of 60/5 in 5.2 overs and played a belligerent knock to turn the tide in his team’s favour.
