Canada has introduced big changes to its immigration regulations.
The new Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations came into effect on Jan 31, has given authorities more to border officials to cancel temporary resident documents such as electronic travel authorisations (eTAs) and temporary resident visas.
The new regulations are likely to impact thousands of foreign nationals, including Indians, annually.
The changes will impact students, employees, and temporary resident visitors, many of whom are from India.
