Politics, not science, kept Sunita Williams, another astronaut stuck in space: Elon Musk

Musk on Feb 19 claimed that the two American astronauts, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, have been left stranded in space for "political reasons", and not technical or scientific.

Musk made the claims in an interview with Fox News alongside President Donald Trump.

“They were left up there for political reasons, which is not good,” said Musk, who played a key role in getting Republican Trump elected and has been rewarded with the DOGE post.
