FIR against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, others over 'vulgar discussion'

The Assam Police has filed a case against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and comedian Samay Raina, among other influencers, for allegedly "promoting obscenity and engaging in sexually explicit and vulgar discussion" on a recent episode of the YouTube show 'India's Got Latent'.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in a post on X, said that YouTubers and influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija and others have also been named in the FIR for promoting obscenity.

Hours earlier, a complaint was filed.
