Snow squalls will fall on eastern Ontario Sunday morning, according to Environment Canada. The agency also issued a statement about strong winds expected Monday for residents of Kingston and other communities on Lake Ontario.
The snow squall warning was issued around 10:20 a.m. and is expected to last until noon. It includes the southernmost parts of Ottawa, as far south as Perth and Brockville and as far east as Hawkesbury and Lancaster.
Environment Canada warned that bursts of brief, intense snowfall will limit visibility quickly and unexpectedly. Wind gusts could reach 60 km/h and conditions may change rapidly.
