Revanth Reddy trying to show he's bigger superstar than Allu Arjun: Annamalai
.
Tamil Nadu BJP state president K Annamalai weighed in on the political controversy surrounding National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun. Addressing the media in Chennai, Annamalai criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and implied that the Congress-led government in the state was victimising the actor.
“I think he (Revanth Reddy) is trying to compete regarding who is the superstar in Telangana. He is trying to show he is a bigger superstar than Allu Arjun. Right now, too, he is acting in Congress, he is the main actor in Telangana,” Annamalai said, taking a jibe at the Telangana Chief Minister.
The BJP leader sympathised with the actor and condemned the attack on his residence in Hyderabad. “People who came and created ruckus, threw stones (at Allu Arjun’s residence), among them two-three people came from his (Revanth Reddy) own constituency,” Annamalai said.
