Mahela Jaywardene replaces Mark Boucher as Mumbai Indians head coach

Jayawardene will replace Mark Boucher who was at the helm for the last two seasons in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Five-time IPL (Indian Premier League) champions Mumbai Indians (MI) have announced former Sri Lanka cricketer Mahela Jayarwardene as their new head coach ahead of IPL 2025.

Jayawardene will replace Mark Boucher who was at the helm for the last two seasons in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

He served as the head coach for Mumbai from 2017 to 2022.
