Montreal police investigating shooting in Lachine
Const. Sabrina Gauthier of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) says officers found the man with at least one bullet wound in the upper body.
Montreal police are investigating a shooting overnight that has left a 44-year-old man in hospital and in critical condition.
The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Friday in the Lachine borough on Louis-Paré Street, near 26th Avenue.

Early reports indicate the man was shot as he stepped out of his vehicle, Gauthier said.
He noted that the suspects fled before police arrived.
