In the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a home on the picturesque shoreline collapsed before the pilings on which it stood sank and toppled the entire structure into the sea.
Listing out the probable reason behind the collapse of the house, weather experts stated that the crashing waves produced by Hurricane Ernesto, combined with high tides, appear to be the cause, as the New York Times reported.
Collin Rugg, co-owner of trending politics, posted video of the collapse on his official X handle on Sunday. "Beachfront Home falls into the Atlantic Ocean on North Carolina’s Outer Banks. The incident was thanks to Hurricane Ernesto, which is off the coast in the Atlantic. The unfortunate owners purchased the 4-bed, 2-bath home in 2018 for $339,000. The home was built in 1973," he stated in the post.
