Jay Shah promises good gap between IPL and World Test Championship finals
Recently, Jay Shah spoke about keeping a 15-day gap between the IPL final and the WTC final.

BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Secretary Jay Shah has promised to keep good gap between the IPL (Indian Premier League) final and the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Notably, the scheduling of the IPL has been heavily criticized after India failed to win WTC despite their consecutive appearances in the final.
Recently, Jay Shah spoke about keeping a 15-day gap between the IPL final and the WTC final. The BCCI secretary however maintained that the team has always reached for the final on time irrespective of the IPL schedule and praised the team for reaching the finals on both occasions so far.
“The team didn't reach late for previous WTC finals. We had no choice. From now on, we will be having a 15-day gap between the end of IPL and the WTC final. But we should also appreciate the fact that we have qualified for the final twice,” Jay Shah told Times of India.
