The duo beat Netherlands' Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof in a hard-fought match.

The Spanish pair won their match via a 10-point tiebreaker after two sets.

Alcaraz and Nadal won 6-4 in the first set but lost in the tiebreak of the second.

When the match was pushed into the 10-point tie-breaker, the duo raised their level to clinch the game 10-2.
