Two men charged in Renfrew stabbing
Wayne Flegel, 60, of Renfrew, has been charged with 2 counts of attempt to commit murder.
2 men have been arrested without incident following a stabbing in Renfrew.
The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Airth Boulevard around 11 p.m. on Apr. 24.
Officers located 2 men suffering from stab wounds and both were taken to hospital by Renfrew County Paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
Wayne Flegel, 60, of Renfrew, has been charged with 2 counts of attempt to commit murder.
Flegel remains in custody and is due in court in Pembroke on Monday, Apr. 29.
Christopher McCanna-Wright, 34, of Renfrew, has been charged with 2 counts of assault with a weapon.
McCanna-Wright remains in custody and is due in court in Pembroke on Apr 26.
