Speaking to Sports Today ahead of Chennai's match against Gujarat Titans Gavaskar said that it was difficult to read Dhoni's mind.

"Mixed signs from MS Dhoni on his retirement. It is difficult to read his mind, and that's how good captains generally are. Good captains always keep the opposition guessing."

As the speculation continues, Gavaskar expressed the collective desire for Dhoni to continue playing and leave the game on a high note.

"We all want him to go on, and we want him to go on a high. We want him to go out at the height of his powers, delighting the fans with sixes like he always has," Gavaskar further added.
