Target of 2 crore new members, women's participation: Actor Vijay's party agenda

The party is also set to announce an exclusive women-led membership wing

Actor Thalapathy Vijay, who recently floated his own party named Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, instructed his party colleagues to work towards the expansion of the party unit.

In an ambitious goal, the party president has instructed his colleagues to reach the target of two crore new members in the party and also called for active participation of women and first-time voters.

The party is also set to announce an exclusive women-led membership wing which will be coordinated by district and Assembly in-charge, respectively.

"We must endeavour to ensure that the general public, including first-time and women voters, become active members of our party," Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam's headquarters announced.

Vijay has asked his party colleagues to conduct a district and Assembly-wise membership drive to strengthen the party at its grassroots.
