Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer and has a year to live in the "best-case scenario".
The 75-year-old led England to the World Cup in 2002 and 2006, but lost in the quarterfinals both times. During a glittering four-decade managerial career, he also coached Benfica, Roma, and Manchester City.
Eriksson told Swedish Radio P1 that he discovered he had cancer after collapsing unexpectedly. He announced in February of last year that he was reducing his public appearances due to health issues.
