After better.com, another US based company has fired 200 employees over a video call. Frontdesk, a prop tech startup company, fired around 200 employees, which is the entire workforce of the company, over a two-minute Google Meet call.

As per a TechCrunch report, Frontdesk,  recently laid off a significant number of its employees, including full-time, part-time workers, and contractors. This move occurred during a brief Google Meet call, leaving many shocked and uncertain about their future at the company.

The CEO, Jesse DePinto, broke the news during the call, mentioning Frontdesk's plans to file for a state receivership, an alternative to bankruptcy. Despite reaching out for comment, the company remains silent, with its website advising customers to find alternative accommodations and expect further contact within two weeks.
