'Jammu and Kashmir suffering due to poor intel': Ex-top cop

Jammu and Kashmir's former police chief SP Vaid on Monday blamed 'poor intelligence' for the repeated terror attacks in the Rajouri-Poonch sector, adding that it was important to strengthen the intelligence network in the region.

"Jammu and Kashmir is suffering due to poor intelligence. We must strengthen our network in the Valley," the former Jammu and Kashmir DGP said.

"I appreciate Army chief General Manoj Pande for taking this matter seriously. His visit was much needed," Vaid said.
