Talking about the box office trend of 'Animal', trade expert Ramesh Bala said, "I think it's going upwards with Rs 450 -500 crore net in India with Telugu and Tamil versions. I'm looking at 'Animal' doing Rs 800 to 900 crore worldwide in two weeks. The film is doing really well not only in India but also in Canada, Australia, and even in the UK. It will be the biggest blockbuster of this year. Even with mixed reviews, the film has done exceptionally well."
