“I've a stomach infection and will not be travelling to Delhi today,” he told news agency ANI.
“There are 135 Congress MLAs. I don't have any MLAs. I've left the decision to the party high command,” Shivakumar said on Monday (May 15).
Earlier in the day, the Congress leader, at a media briefing, said he would go to Delhi after attending a private programme. “I will finish my private program and visit my god and then go to Delhi,” he said, adding, “Our high command had called me and Kharge, I'm late. I just want to communicate to all media friends since you have wished me. I'll go to Delhi in whichever flight is available.”
