Amit Banerji, the founder, chairman, and CEO of managed workspace provider Table Space, tragically passed away from a heart attack on Monday morning.
His untimely death was confirmed by the company in an official statement. "It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Amit Banerji, our Founder, Chairman, and CEO. His impact on the company, its people and the industry will be lasting, and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends and partners," the statement read.
Banerji, aged 44, was a seasoned professional with vast experience in the technology and real estate sectors. Before founding Table Space in 2017, he worked at Accenture for over 13 years, leaving as its managing director of corporate real estate in India. He co-founded Table Space alongside Karan Chopra, with a vision to provide innovative and flexible workspace solutions.
