SL President awards land deeds to people in Mannar under ‘Urumaya’ program

The ‘Urumaya’ national program is expected to grant 2 million freehold land deeds to people across the island.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has symbolically awarded 442 out of the allotted 5,000 land deeds to the people of Mannar district under the ‘Urumaya’ national program, the President’ Media Division said.

The programme was held at the Mannar Municipal Council Auditorium yesterday morning (June 16).

The ‘Urumaya’ national program is expected to grant 2 million freehold land deeds to people across the island.
