Tamil Nadu BJP leader Tada Periyasamy joins AIADMK ahead of Lok Sabha polls

Tamil Nadu BJP leader Tada Periyasamy on Sunday joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

He was welcomed to the party by AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami.

Periyasamy was believed to be upset after the BJP denied him a Lok Sabha ticket from the state's Chidambaram seat.

In the BJP, Periyasamy also served as the chief of Tamil Nadu BJP's Schedule Cast (SC) unit.
