1 dead in Nepean

One person is dead and another has been injured in Ottawa's Nepean neighbourhood on Apr 6 morning, according to the Ottawa Police Service.

Emergency services responded to reports of shots fired on the 300 block of Craig Henry Drive, police said in a social media post shortly after 11 a.m. on Apr 6.

Police asked the public to avoid the area.
