Reports that US-Israel will blow Iran into smithereens exaggerated: Trump

.

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the United States, President Donald Trump has refuted reports suggesting that Washington is working in cahoots with the Jewish nation to "blow Iran into smithereens". Dismissing the claims, Trump clarified that such speculation is "greatly exaggerated".

"Reports that the United States, working in conjunction with Israel, is going to blow Iran into smithereens ARE GREATLY EXAGGERATED. I would much prefer a Verified Nuclear Peace Agreement, which will let Iran peacefully grow and prosper," he said.

Netanyahu visited the White House on Feb 4, with the latter becoming the first foreign leader to visit the Oval Office since Trump took office as President on Jan 20.
