Convicted child abuser Rebecca Holloway found dead in prison

A woman convicted of child sexual abuse was found dead in her prison cell at HM Prison Low Newton in Durham, England.

Officials confirmed that the death of Rebecca Holloway occurred on February 13, 2025.

The Prison Service said that she died as she served out a 12-and-a-half-year sentence. An investigation is underway into the circumstances of her death.
