Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan recently launched a scathing attack on the Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding party members' allegiance and questioning the party's stance on crucial national issues.
While laying the foundation stone of the Azhikodan memorial in Kannur, the Chief Minister said, "The Congress leadership is not sure if its leaders will remain in the party tomorrow".
Vijayan further criticised the Congress for its lack of a clear position on significant matters affecting the country. Vijayan remarked, "In many issues that matter a lot, the stand of Congress leadership is not what was taken by Pandit Nehru. And where did it reach? Congress' strongholds became weak, and the Hindutva communalist forces made use of it".
He also questioned the Congress's secular stance and asserted that only the Left is capable of effectively countering the 'Sangh parivar' ideology, not the Congress.
